The 8th annual SPIRIT Award winners for 2019 were honored. The awards are given to employees that exemplify Texas Tech Physicians' SPIRIT values. The ceremony was held on 6/24/19 and was the 8th annual SPIRIT awards. Winners were determined by a committee that selected these individuals from 77 peer nominations.
Those honored with the SPIRIT awards include:
One Team: Colbi Pechal, Chief Radiologic Tech, Student Health
Kind Hearted: Dorene Bailey, Clinic Manager, Ophthalmology
Integrity: Paula Strong, Sr. Licensed Vocational Nurse, Student Health
Visionary: Randall Sheets, MD, Associate Professor, Family Medicine
Beyond Service: Charla Adamcik, Head Nurse, Internal Medicine
Overall Spirit: Isabel Cannon, Sr. Patient Service Specialist, Pediatrics
The winners receive a check for $100, a TTUHSC jacket and their pictures are placed in the ”hall of fame” in the entrance to the medical pavilion.
