Blue Jeans for Babies

Employees may work from the comfort of their favorite blue jeans on March 27, April 8 and April 23 for a small donation to the March of Dimes.

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Donations support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives.

Blue Jeans for Babies stickers are $4 for each date. Participants must wear stickers on the date of the event. Stickers are available from March of Dimes Academic Affairs Division Team Captain Rhonda Woodward, executive administrative associate and Community Medical School coordinator, in Administrative Suite 2B430.

The March for Babies begins at 9 a.m. April 26 at Urbanovsky Park, Texas Tech, 1801 Flint Ave. The event is open to anyone and will include many fun events including jump houses for children, vendors and free food.
