“Patricia consistently exhibits the SPIRIT values in her daily work,” said Lindsey Tubbs, senior clinical department administrator. “She is an example to the entire department of what those values look like in action. She has fostered an attitude of teamwork among the nurses and other clinic staff, and is always willing to pitch in.”

Hatch, who has served as an R.N. for TTP-Internal Medicine for 13 years, became the nurse manager in 2013.

“Patricia is the go-to person that everyone in the clinic knows they can rely on when they have questions or need assistance,” Tubbs said. “She has proven innovative in coming up with ways to staff and operate the clinic both efficiently and effectively.”

Hatch said she loves working for TTUHSC and is proud to be a part of TTP-Internal Medicine. She loves Texas Tech Athletics, especially football and basketball, and enjoys spending time with her daughter and family. She is involved in church and enjoys singing. For fun, Hatch enjoys reading, going to the movies and traveling. She is also an animal lover, especially horses.

“Her smile and infectious positive attitude has a great impact on those she works with — employees, physicians and patients,” Tubbs said. “She is a pleasure to work with and a valuable asset to Internal Medicine.”
