Straight Talk to Help Teens, College Students and Senior Citizens Make Responsible Decisions About Sex

Straight Talk, a free program designed to motivate teenagers, young adults and senior citizens to talk about topics including sex education, STDs and responsible decision making, will begin at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at the Academic Classroom Building.

Straight Talkis a community-based program supported by more than 60 community organizations, businesses and individuals. The event is organized by co-chairs Linda Brice, Ph.D., R.N., and Kathleen McPherson, TTP-Dermatology administrator.

Joining Teen Straight Talk for the first time will be Straight Talk – For All Ages, a section targeting college students and senior citizens—two groups with growing STD rates
