And there’s the Humor of it: Shakespeare and the Four Humors

The Preston Smith Library in Lubbock is pleased to host a traveling exhibit from the National Library of Medicine:

And there’s the Humor of it: Shakespeare and the Four Humors

The four humors (blood, yellow bile, black bile, and phlegm) were understood to define an individual’s physical and mental health and personality. "And there's the humor of it": Shakespeare and the four humors explores the language of the four humors and their influence in Shakespeare’s plays.

Please visit the exhibit located on the 2nd Floor through June 22, 2019.
