"I would like to nominate Cathye Davis for September’s patient experience champion please. Today we had a patient who wanted to be seen in our clinic and did not have his full copay. When the front desk called to ask about allowing him to be seen with a partial payment, I agreed that we could accept what he had with him. As the gentleman counted out his change, Cathye Davis stepped up and offered to make up the difference for him; and did so. Although it was only a small amount of money (less than a $1) what counts most is Cathye’s patient focus and her generous and kind heart!"
Cathye was selected from a pool of nominees for exemplifying her Kindheartedness. Her demonstration of empathy showed how she views patients as people, and not just as part of her job. We celebrate Cathye, and employees like her, for serving our patients so well.
