“During the first two years of medical school, The Free Clinic was a great reminder of why I chose to pursue medicine as a career. For most, The Free Clinic is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience interviewing patients, improving physical exam skills, implementing some knowledge we are currently learning in class and communicating with upper level medical professionals. For me, it encompasses all of those things, but is most importantly a place I can have a real impact on patient care as a medical student.”
