Non-Direct Patient Care Employees

Visit the TTUHSC Pharmacy with your United Healthcare insurance card to receive your free flu vaccine before September 1. Vaccines will be administered at cost to the recipient after the change of insurance providers from United Healthcare to Blue Cross Blue Shield effective September 1.

Direct Patient Care Employees

As a way to increase flu vaccine compliance, flu vaccines for direct patient care employees will be administered by each department. Each department nurse manager must pick their vaccine packet up at the Employee Health Offices when notified. The goal for Employee Health Offices is to have all direct care patient employees vaccinated by October 1, 2017. Assigned nurse leaders will administer vaccines in a time, place and manner that works best for the individual departments.
