Though the snowy weather threatened attendance, the 7th Annual Clinical Optometry Update and Review Conference was a huge success. It was held last Friday, January 23rd in ACB100. Sponsored by the TTUHSC Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, this conference provided continuing education hours to optometrists from Texas and Eastern New Mexico. This year saw record attendance with 82 doctors registered for the conference. Due to the snow storm, there were several that were unable to travel. However, with the help of our talented I.T. department and Classroom Support, 19 of the optometrists attended the conference via Techlink from the TTUHSC Amarillo School of Pharmacy.
