Richard Winn, infectious disease doctor for Texas Tech Physicians—Internal Medicine, also spoke about the Ebola situation, its origins and current status, and how TTUHSC is working to keep all of its students, faculty and staff safe.
Finally, Mary Croyle, executive director of the Office of Communications and Marketing, and Kendra Burris, associate vice chancellor for Institutional Advancement, informed the audience of the new Your Life, Our Purpose initiative. The campaign, launched on September 1, summarizes the goals of TTUHSC as a superior resource for health care, meeting the needs of more than 2.7 million people throughout the state.
