David McCartney, M.D., chair of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, and Marjorie Jenkins, M.D., chief scientific officer of the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health, were recently selected to the 2014 Texas Super Doctors List. The list will be published in the December 2014 issue of Texas Monthly, which reaches more than 2.5 million readers, and on the Super Doctors website (www.superdoctors.com).

This prestigious honor comes as the result of a rigorous nomination process conducted by the national research division of MSP Communications in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The process includes peer nominations, detailed independent research, and a Blue Ribbon panel review of all nominated candidates. Approximately five percent of Texas physicians make the final list.
