Several TTP docs to serve on new Sex and Gender-Based Medicine Task Force

TTUHSC President Tedd L. Mitchell, M.D., has appointed an institutional-level, multidisciplinary
Sex and Gender-Based Medicine Task Force to serve as a think tank for future initiatives
in sex and gender-based medicine, including collaboration with experts at Texas Tech.
In addition, the task force will work closely with the Sex and Gender-Based Medicine
Curriculum Program, the main purpose of which is the creation of sex and gender-based
medicine educational materials and innovative educational models for use within TTUHSC
and disseminated nationally.
