Congratulations to David McCartney, M.D., Gregory D. Oliver, CTBS, and the entire of the staff of the Great Plains Lions Eye Bank for receiving a proclamation from Gov. Rick Perry for the great work in raising awareness of corneal transplantation. March is Eye Donor Month, and seven eye banks in Texas received proclamations. The Eye Bank staff does a great job helping people in need of a cornea transplant, providing them the opportunity to see again.
