Congratulations to J. Matthew Driskill, MBA(HOM), FACMPE on his fellowship from the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA).

Fellow status is the highest level of distinction one can reach in the medical practice management profession.  To date, only about 700 individuals have attained and been awarded Fellow status in the American College of Medical Practice Executives.

Driskill has more than 28 years in medical practice management, with more than 14 years of them spent as senior clinical department administrator for the TTUHSC Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. He obtained Certified Medical Practice Executive status in 2001, and obtained Fellow status in 2013.

Driskill is the author of the paper, “What Are They Thinking? - How Administrators Can Better Understand Physicians, How They Think, and How to Help Them Make Sound Business Decisions.”
