Rebecca Casares has been with the Department of Urology for more than three years. In her time here, she has worked her way up to Patient Services supervisor.

Casares exhibits the SPIRIT values on a daily basis.  She is always friendly and willing to go the extra mile for patients and coworkers.  Anytime someone has a question, she stops what she is doing and gives him or her her undivided attention. She receives many positive comments on Press Ganey surveys about her kindness and caring attitude for patients because she does her best to put them first at all times and make their visit as pleasant as possible.  She is always bright and cheerful and greets everyone with a smile.

Her integrity and work ethic shows in everything she does.  Since taking over the Patient Services area, she has earned the respect of her staff and fellow coworkers in the department.  She has been able to streamline processes at the front desk, which has improved efficiency for the staff.  She is always willing to jump in and help her staff when they are shorthanded, which shows true teamwork.

Casares is a great asset to the Department of Urology and is greatly appreciated by all faculty and staff.
