Janyce Branson is a senior billing and reimbursement specialist who has been with TTUHSC for 18 years. She is the definition of “hard-working employee” and maintains a cheerful demeanor at all times. Branson is always polite, kind and willing to help with anything asked of her. She exuberates sincerity and compassion that patients and co-workers welcome and positively respond to. Branson treats her co-workers with respect and consideration and always seems to be there when you need help. She is routinely honored with the Department of Anesthesiology’s “Award of Excellence,” a peer-driven, departmental award for employees who have displayed leadership in areas like patient satisfaction, financial performance and business growth. One of the unique character combinations that Branson religiously displays is her attention to detail, her patience (especially with insurance companies) and her uncanny ability to drop what she’s doing to help others —all while maximizing patient satisfaction and productivity.
