Community Medical School lecture today featuring Dr. Emily Merrill

Community Medical School (CMS), a free program taught by members of the TTUHSC faculty,
will host a lecture featuring Dr. Emily Merrill today at 6:30 p.m. in ACB 100.
Merrill’s lecture, “What are Advanced Practice Registered Nurses and how can they
impact your health?” will explain what APRNs do, where they practice and how they
can improve your health.Guest panelists will include a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, a nurse from
the Midwifery program, and a nurse from the Burn Center.
A tour of the SimLife Center will be available immediately following the presentation.
CMS is open to anyone, regardless of background or experience and there is no cost
for this class. Stop by the registration table on Nov. 19 to check-in and pick up
your class materials. Booths will be open from 5:30-6 p.m., so grab a snack and visit
with our vendors before the 6 p.m. presentation.
