Sandy Prieto, Dermatology, received the 2013 SPIRIT Award for Integrity.

“Integrity is a concept of consistency of actions, values, methods, measures, principles, expectations and outcomes. Sandy Prieto’s actions and interactions continuously show that they are according to the values, beliefs and principles she holds. Sandy works in a way that she is continuously striving for excellence and wanting to know how she can improve on her work. Sandy has worked in three areas in the department with each new position being a promotion. In each area she has shown her abilities to continuously improve in the area of responsibility that she has been given. Sandy seeks to organize, reorganize and to make her job and other’s jobs more efficient. She continuously looks for the best way to do her job and continuously exceeds the expectation of the job. Sandy continuously promotes a positive environment and positive outcomes. She is willing to assist anyone with anything they are struggling with from creative works to Excel or any other program that she is familiar with. Recently, we had a situation in Dermatology and the first thing that Sandy wanted to know was how will this affect the team, what positive will come out of it, and how do we move forward. Sandy was one of the first team members to initiate a team builder session for our group that was led by staff. Sandy is a definite asset to Dermatology.”
