Progress in Patient Satisfaction

Texas Tech Physicians of Lubbock continues to advance in the critical goal of patient satisfaction. This quarter we are at the 76th percentile, which is higher than we have been at this point during the most recent two quarters, said Dennis Lamb Sr., director of Patient Services.

"Our efforts continue to produce progress. When a practice has advanced as far as we have--each additional point is a challenge and accomplishment," Lamb said. "We have not arrived and we never will by sitting back and relaxing. We have to work harder every day."

A recent meeting in Dallas of Press Ganey clients from around the nation confirmed that Texas Tech Physicians is on the right track.

"People were asking me how we have sustained such gradual and consistent improvement over the past few years,” Lamb said. “I tell them relentless focus, total commitment and an all-out team approach. It works only if everyone is actively engaged and accountable.”

Texas Tech Physicians of Lubbock is becoming an example for other organizations across the nation to model.

“Recognition is great and well-deserved, but it raises the bar,” Lamb said. “Lace up your boots because the mountain is now steeper than ever.”
