TTP of Lubbock successfully completed its triennial site survey by The Joint Commission from Nov. 4–6. Joint Commission findings, recommendations and commendations will be addressed at the Mini Core Comps Fair, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec 13. Attendance to the fair is mandatory for attending physicians, residents and nursing staff.

The Joint Commission site surveyors included Lynnette Munday, M.D., and Terri Sharp, N.P., who visited the majority of our 21 clinic sites during the three-day survey.

An independent, not-for-profit organization, The Joint Commission accredits and certifies more than 20,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States. Texas Tech Physicians voluntarily participates in The Joint Commission accreditation to demonstrate our commitment to the highest level of patient safety and quality care.
