SPIRIT Spotlight: Tiffany Williams, Patient Service Specialist

spirit-spotlight-tiffany-williams-patient-service-specialist- image0Tiffany Williams is a patient service specialist who joined the Department of Neurology in February. Williams has worked in health care for more than 12 years and has done an exemplary job over the past several months.


  • Williams is always positive and upbeat. Nearly every day she goes above and beyond to help a colleague or a patient. She willingly, and without prompting, extends help to anyone and everyone that she notices needs assistance.
  • Williams always puts the patient first. She is excellent with elderly patients. When she encounters a patient in the waiting room, she routinely engages them in conversation, makes them smile and will offer them bottled water or coffee while they wait.
  • Williams is genuine and sincere in everything she does. It is apparent through her actions that she honestly wants to help others and is authentic and approachable at all times.
  • Williams is always courteous and never too busy to stop and listen. Texas Tech Physicians has received many positive comments from patients that Williams made them feel welcome and at ease when they visit the clinic.

Williams embraces change and leads the way when the department implements new technology or processes to improve efficiency. The department can always count on Williams to jump on board whenever there is a change and her enthusiasm is contagious.Williams exemplifies teamwork. She is invested in the success of Texas Tech Physicians and it shows through her daily interactions with others.
