Volunteers are needed for a Medication Cleanout event on April 28 at the Pavilion. The event allows the general public the opportunity to safely dispose of expired or unneeded medications at a convenient drive-thru disposal site.

To volunteer, register on the Medication Cleanout website.

Previous Medication Cleanout events in cities across Texas, including Lubbock, have collected more than 6,000 pounds of unneeded medications. Gathering these medications helps to prevent poisonings, reduce abuse and misuse, and protect the environment.
