“This is an important position that can help move the practice along to its vision of being a top-tier medical practice nationally recognized in quality patient care, satisfaction and value,” said TTP CEO Brent Magers.
In his new role, Fowler, most recently the senior clinical administrator in the Department of Pathology, will provide leadership for some important initiatives including:
- Assisting in financial management and reporting for the Texas 1115 Medicaid Waiver program and Delivery System Reform Incentive Program (DSRIP).
- Enhancing steps along the revenue cycle. Paul is just wrapping up the successful project known as Front Desk, which has improved a number of business processes in several clinical departments and eventually will be implemented throughout the practice. There are several more beneficial projects for the School of Medicine like this in the queue.
- Further developing TTP’s standards and elements of performance.
- Assisting the EHR department with the clinical transformation program.
- Updating the strategic plan.
