In an effort to promote the TTP mission and vision within their department, TTP-Ophthalmology began the OphthOlympics July 27. The department is divided into five teams, one for each of TTP’s key performance indicators, and designated by one of the colors in the Olympic rings.

The event, which has a focus on improvement in patient satisfaction and other areas of performance, consists of weekly email contests and will conclude with a medal ceremony at the department’s employee picnic on Aug. 24.
