Jstor Text Analyzer
JSTOR’s text analyzer allows users to upload a text document, have it evaluated within an integrated search function, and produce comparable results. Articles or abstracts can be analyzed and mined for key topics and terms used deemed most important or pertinent for relevance. Such "prioritized terms" can then be navigated and manipulated to find similar content. A new set of search results may be activated by adding, removing or adjusting these terms within the search engine. Though not an official TTUHSC database, access to JSTOR is offered through TexShare. The database automatically filters for information within the library’s holdings; searching within the text analyzer directs users to licensed content. Though not a comprehensive resource, the text analyzer allows users interested in more augmented searching a chance to enhance their research scope.
